Getting started

WooCommerce quickstart

Add the exact WordPress Site Address, configure the advertising platforms you use, install the CapiTracker WooCommerce plugin, and verify the domain-bound connection.

Before you start
  • Confirm WooCommerce is active in WordPress.
  • Copy the Site Address from WordPress Settings → General.
  • Make sure you can install and activate WordPress plugins.
1

Add the WooCommerce store

Open WooCommerce under Stores and select Add a new store. Enter the exact Site Address and store timezone.

2

Add advertising credentials

Enable only the advertising platforms you use, complete their required fields, and create the store.

3

Install the plugin

Download the CapiTracker WooCommerce ZIP. In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, upload it, and activate CapiTracker.

4

Generate a connection code

Open the store in CapiTracker and select Generate connection code. The code is single-use, bound to the store domain, and expires after 15 minutes.

5

Connect WordPress

Open the CapiTracker plugin page in WordPress, paste the connection code, and connect. No database password, collector secret, or Meta token is entered in WordPress.

6

Clear cache and verify

Clear any WordPress or performance-plugin cache, open the storefront, trigger a PageView, then select Test connection in CapiTracker.

Connection safety: Regenerating a connection code revokes any unused prior code. The plugin receives only store-scoped collector credentials.
